MARSDEN MEADOWNS FARM AND ABATTIOR
We have some exciting updates for the 2026 season! We're upgrading our building again to provide greater access to value added products and expand our capacity for cut ups and special requests. Our goal remains the same, connect with producers and consumers to strengthen relationships within our farming community and do our part for local food security.
Beginning January 1, 2026, we will be operating on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so be sure to book your dates early to ensure your preferred processing days!

51-100 $7.50
101+ $7.00
Birds over 9LBs will be subject to .50 per lb fee
Condemned Price
$3 per bird
Piece cut up:
$1.20lb for bulk bagged cut ups
$1.40lb hand paper wrap packaging
This is on top of processing rate
Bagging: Regular bagging included(non-vac packed) labelled with price and wt.
Shrink bagging available $3.00 per bag.
Saving Organs: Bagged in lots not individually bagged

Things to Know
Birds must come fasted for 24 hours previous to their booked date.
Birds that are not fasted will incur a fee of $2/bird.
If bringing poultry loose in a stock trailer owner will be asked to stay to pass poultry out to staff for processing. DO NOT ADD SAWDUST/PAPPER PRODUCTS TO CRATES OR CAGES as it makes our job a lot messier.
Drop ins without an appointment will be charged double the regular fee. If an accommodation can be made.
Turn around time is same day or on larger days pick up will be the next day, but you will be informed ahead of time. We will contact you via phone when ready for pickup.
Crate Rentals
Need assistance transporting your chickens? We have crates available to rent; pick up of crates can be done a day or two prior to your scheduled appointment.
Reliable poultry 250-337-5956 also has crates for sale or rent if ours are all in use.
Current rate: $10/crate.
