Hello & thanks for visiting Marsden Meadows Farm & Abattoir, located in the Comox Valley. We hope you enjoy what we have to offer!
In the start of 2015, my daughter's aspirations of becoming a farmer started with her love & connection to 4H. We began the farm by raising laying hens and quickly expanded to sheep, turkeys and meat birds.
A two-generation family run business, the abattoir was a dream that stemmed from lack of availability and accessibility for small-scale farmers to locally process their poultry on the Northern Vancouver Island.

Pictured is my daughter, whose love of animals helped to jumpstart my own desire to provide humanly and ethically raised products as well as our services to the local community.
Our animals are given fresh produce daily, local hay and pasture. Our lambs are raised without the use of growth hormones or antibiotics and cared for lovingly.
In addition to our roasting chickens & lamb, we offer turkeys. Perfect for those special celebrations & holidays.
Services
Our business has two parts
The Farm - products are available to the general public to purchase direct from us.
The Abattoir - where we work with our wonderful farmers and assist them in bringing our community their locally raised poultry.

Roasting Chickens and Turkeys
Looking to shop for locally raise poultry? We have roasting chickens and turkeys available.
We offer processing of turkeys, roosters, hens and meat birds.
Lamb
Lamb is sold by the side or half side only. Please inquire about availability and pricing.
Events
Do you have a special event planned? We can help you with your side of lamb or a large order of chickens- just ask us!
